How does the Network Manager track the recent changes made by LCAS to add circuits to the VCG?
Are these circuits pre-provisioned for the LCAS to add to a VCG or are they provisioned when LCAS performs an "ADD" operation?
- They are pre-provisioned for the VCG: the LCAS protocol runs over the circuit itself, hence it cannot be used to establish the circuit. It only deals with changing the bandwidth of a VCG, not with assigning resources to the VCG. This is similar to LCP in Multi-link PPP or LACP in Ethernet Link Aggregation.
