Talk:Linka

Does anybody else remember "Linka", a model-building toy for adults and older children from the late 1970s? It consisted of a sort of plaster-of-Paris concoction, moulds, some simple tools (eg. for checking right-angles) and some paints, etc thrown in for good measure. The moulds were the important bit - you could use them to make segments which could then be assembled to make buildings. I had the stonework set (which you could use to make castles, churches etc.) and there was a brickwork (for Georgian and Victorian buildings, one supposes) set as well. It was on HO-OO scale, to match up with model railways, small Airfix tanks etc.

Might be worth a brief article.Paulturtle (talk) 17:27, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
