Names:
editGame never got an official localization, so no clue how to render these names. There's even disagreement among the old game mags as to how to render the game's title. The name of the Game and cast are indeed English rater than Japanese words, so there's no translation, but it's not clear how to spell them exactly.
There's also the fan translation to contend with, which isn't official at all.
- Wrinkle River Story vs. Linkle Liver Story
The game's title screen does indeed say "Linkle Liver", so it's not a mistake. The old magazine sources seem split among the middle as to whether to call it one or the other. All lthe modern web sources say "Linkle Liver Story", so I don't know what would count as the WP:COMMON NAME.
If I had to guess, I'd say they were aiming for "Wrinkle River", but who knows. I can't seond guess devs. It's entirely possible they went for the nonsensial "Linkle Liver". There's a usenet post where a person claims to have talked to the producers, and says that they did indeed intend "Linkle Liver". So who knows. Harizotoh9 (talk) 00:58, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- Kitsch vs Kitsu
The main character. German mag renders her name as Kitsch, while I've also seen it rendered Kitsu. Harizotoh9 (talk) 00:58, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Restored:
editMartin IIIa PROD'd the page citing a lack of English coverage and popularity, and no sources. I've talked to him before, and he's convinced that pages need English sources to denote notability. That part is nonsense and I don't know where he got that idea. However, the second part about no sources was valid but I've fixed that now.
The most substantial coverage is Gamefan and Sega Saturn Magazine, and I have access to those. Famitsu and other mags would have covered it to, but I don't have those. The coverage in Euro-American mags is decent for a start, and the Japanese sources would be needed to bring it to GA-FA quality.
Reviews
editI added the reviews that I could find: Famitsu, GameFan, and SSM. Now, Saturn Fan, that's a magazine I didn't know about. Did they review the game?
This looks to be a preview from Famitsu. I know the formatting of Famitsu. Harizotoh9 (talk) 13:34, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
