editA very interesting article. As a native English speaker, I hope you do not mind my alterations. The one sentence that I was somewhat puzzled by and therefore left alone was "In history, she was long considered stuck-up; the public was not used to women having such a exposed role, and her profession was considered provocing." Would it perhaps be possible to re-phrase this? With best wishes, 45ossington 17:06, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Of course, re-phrase! I am well aware of the fact that my English could be better. What i ment was, that as the profession of an actress, which was new in Denmark, exposed her and made her a celebrity in a way that had ben unknown until then, it was seen as provocating, and she was regarded stuck-up because of it, and described such in the history-books until recently. If this can be expressed better in English, i leave for an English-speaking person to re-phrase!--Aciram 17:38, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
I have had a go, but please do revert my attempt if I have failed to capture your intended meaning. 45ossington 18:13, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
