Fair use rationale for Image:Fry&lauriedvd.jpg
editImage:Fry&lauriedvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

geocities links
editJust a warning - all of those geocities links in this article are about to disappear as geocities is being terminated today. You may want to do something about those links, or get the data archived elsewhere. --Bachrach44 (talk) 16:59, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- yeah it's GONE now. luckily web.archive.org has a copy of the pages there so someone needs to replaces them all. have a great life 121.91.184.234 (talk) 14:33, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Should we be putting these links at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.169.138.190 (talk) 19:45, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

editThe original page, which had directlinks to the scripts, was more immediatly usefull than the current page which lists the references at the end. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.198.5.172 (talk) 16:47, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- True, but we are trying to figure out how to link to archives of geocities pages. The links need some context, which takes up space. They fit better as footnotes. There are several issues involved in geocities links, including WP:COPYVIO, WP:LINKSPAM, and the fact that no one will update the content if it has errors. Please see the WP:GeoCities project page, which links to previous discussions. -Colfer2 (talk) 17:40, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
