Directive n.35
editThe instructions of the directive n.35 were detailing the plans for various movements on the eastern front, which could potentially lead to a situations in which a plan to capture Moscow be feasible. Thus the commentary "Opration Typhoon" is not accurate. Here is the link to the full text of the directive:http://der-fuehrer.org/reden/english/wardirectives/35.html
Unfortunately this is a site made by Nazi-sympathisers however that was the only source with the original text of the 35th directive. All the directives quoted by this site are quoted directly from "Hitlers Weisungen für die Kriegsführung 1939-45" (Frankfurt am Main, 1962), edited by Dr Walther Hubatsch - english version. I have varied that other directives quoted by the site are in line with other sources eg.https://ww2db.com/doc.php?q=301.
As I am new to editing on Wikipedia I would like to ask for your opinion on which reference to use:
-http://der-fuehrer.org/reden/english/wardirectives/35.html ,or -"Hitlers Weisungen für die Kriegsführung 1939-45" (Frankfurt am Main, 1962), edited by Dr Walther Hubatsch"
,as the first one is a complete texts of one of the most important, yet unattainable documents of the war -Hitlersdirectives. However I do not feel completely comfortable publishing links to neo-nazi sites.
Thanks in advance for the feedback and advice ;). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michał Curyło z Gdańska (talk • contribs) 19:57, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
Source for Hitler's directives
editWhile browsing through this, noticed that a few directives have no actual source (e.g. almost all directives after 51). While a useful list if correct/true, cannot be certified - source or removal needed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.61.203.142 (talk) 12:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
