User:Kj1595 Unfortunately your article is very chaotic. I made the list similar to other similar lists of other countries. I also completed the list with the available flags. I would not like to lose your very valuable contribution and hope we can work together to improve the article. You will probably have comments on flags from the communist era, kingdom and principality, and you probably need to mention files in many articles. It would also be useful to shorten the descriptions to a more laconic form, especially not very meaningful and sometimes non-encyclopedic sentences like "Recently, while researching the archives of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Fund Section R–130365), scholar Marenglen Kasmi observed a paper envelope which contained a letter signed by Essad Pasha Toptani and addressed by the Austro-Hungarian royal imperial embassy in Berlin to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dated 7 May 1915." or "Albanian researcher, scholar, orientalist and founding member of the Pan-European Committee in Albania". I deleted flag of the Committee for the National Defence of Kosovo because it is related to the Kosovo and therefore not suitable here. I am waiting for your comments. Please do not pollute the list with fictional flags. Half of the military ensigns you listed do not exist. In this link here are all the official symbols of the Albanian Armed Forces. Maritime flags are fake, no credible source provided. In Albania, municipalities rarely use flags. Vertical flags are also rarely used and provide no value whatsoever to the list. You are not going to format the list of flags as you wish because you need to understand the historical context and uniqueness of each country. Kj1595 (talk) 00:12, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

Political flags are not only fake but violate Commons copyright rules as those flags are a property of non-state entities. Royal standards added are fake. State flags in different color hue are fake. Going back to the municipalities, you do realize Albania has 61 municipalities? Just imagine how long the list would be if say flags were recreated for each municipality? Those aren't flags in the unique sense of the word but merely the official logo of the municipality in a color background rectangle. Again, understand context. When you post a flag in the list, verify the source. Own source is not acceptable. Also, crwflags.com and fotw.info are amateur websites that don't provide any sources in their own right. The National Committee for the Defence of Kosovo was an organization established and based in Albania. Did you bother to read the descriptive paragraph? Kj1595 (talk) 00:41, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

@Kj1595 If many commonly used flags are fictitious, remove them from all articles as soon as possible, especially since this one is by far the least important place where they show them. The CNDK flag does not fit here, it's a bit like put a potential PIRA flag in list Irish flag. Political flags are not fictional [1],[2] File:PSSH Headquarters.jpg However, if you believe that they infringe the copyright, nominate them for removal. [3] The Greeks in Albania apparently still used the flag of Northern Epirus [4] [5] and in greece [6]. Where those flags are found in other articles is irrelevant. I can't police the entire Wikipedia. We are discussing about their inclusion in this article and you failed to properly research each flag you included in the list. Basically you just found a bunch of flags and added them to a long list of fictional flags. All flags with own sources or amateur sites used as sources. The CNDK flag absolutely belongs here because it is a historical flag created and used in Albania. You arguing the opposite is strange. The greek minority flag can be included in the minority flags subsection. The description of each flag may seem long to you but to someone else interested in heraldry, the technical language and high degree of vectorization could be considered fascinating?? Is there anywhere else you suggest the description would go? Because I can't think of a more suitable article than this one! The fact that other country flag lists aren't as detailed and expansive is no fault of mine. The editors that work on those articles maybe don't do enough research or have the imagination in how to organize the lists?! Kj1595 (talk) 11:01, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

If all these flags are fiction I will take care of their corresponding markings and remove them from other articles. My main goal is to get things right with this topic. I put them here so that the information is consistent, if it is as you say it means that I have to remove it from other places. If you want to do it yourself, no problem, I'll let go of the topic, but then actually make corrections where they are necessary.

Only the images with the "factual accuracy disputed" template are fictional or poor recreations of the originals. Kj1595 (talk) 14:06, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

Regarding your questions:

1)The great arms of the Kingdom of Albania is the exact historical image produced by the Istituto Poligrafico dello Stato.

2)The great arms of the House of Zogu is the same one found in the official royal court website. I will make minor adjustments to the inside of the mantle when I have more time.

3)The following two fascist flags are poor recreations of the originals. I am in the process of vectorizing those two historic flag variations.

4)The crooked eagle flag should remain that way as it is the exact design provided in Selenica's guidebook.

5)The royal flag is the same one found in the royal court website.

Also, the square flag of the principality dated from 1915 which you placed on top is historically accurate. Kj1595 (talk) 14:16, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

The naval ensign would be included in the official defense ministry link that shows all symbols. The fact that it is not means this flag is no longer in use. Kj1595 (talk) 18:12, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
