Condensed and Concise summaries
editWell, I did all I can to condense the summaries as concisely as possible. Did each one while rewatching each episode in order not to omit anything, or to point out more important sections of an episode. Essentially used the guideline of 5 lines per episode using a 1366 x 768 screen resolution. Naturally, the number of text lines should differ with smaller or narrower resolutions. While it is possible to describe episodes in about 3 sentences or less (as done in some of the featured episode lists), that's not necessary here. KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 08:34, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Correct me if I'm wrong, but the length of the episode determines the size of the summary. I don't see how screen res has anything to do with it.
I could watch Angel Beats! in a reduced res, and it'd still be the same story.--十八 08:49, 21 March 2012 (UTC)- I skimmed around some of the featured lists, and some of them used 2-3 sentences only. Others, as high as 8 lines of text, like Baccano. As for screen res., I was referring to the number of lines the summary text takes up, which varies by screen res. But, regardless of length, the less wordy, the better. Given then, I've chosen "5 lines" as a happy medium. This is where most of the articles fall under. Though, for episodes 1 and 11 here, I couldn't shrink the summaries more without omitting important stuff. KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 09:22, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, you meant computer screen res. Most of the summaries now appear as 4 lines on my res (1600 x 900). Anyway, good work on the copyediting; some of the summaries were overly detailed, I admit.--十八 09:35, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
