Suggestion
editI have a suggestion for this page. I believe there should be summaries for each episodes explaining what the Angry Video Game Nerd criticized about the video games. MonkeeJuice 6:08, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Good news!
editI heard James Rolfe has three parts of episode 200. He will make episode 201 in February 2022 — Preceding unsigned comment added by LordAldino1997 (talk • contribs) 02:43, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

Extra Sources
editLooking at this list, I can understand why this article has been threatened with deletion five times; there's only 10 references in this article and most of them are non-secondary or independent. For what it's worth, I did a ten-second search and found a few new sources if anyone's interested in fixing this list.
- Screen Rant source - 10 best episodes
- Game Rant source - Macaulay Culkin episode
- CNET source - 10 year anniversary video
- Newswheel source - Big Rigs episode
There's probably a lot more sources which review specific AVGN episodes, but these ones should be a start. From, PantheonRadiance 2601:204:D981:8130:2096:2BE5:303B:5A0A (talk) 08:06, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
Inaccurate dates for the first two episodes
editFor a while, the first two episodes assumed May 2004 releases. However, Justin Silverman (an employee of AVGN) noted that the exact date is fuzzy: "Also, my math is fuzzy, as the AVGN first VHS tape never had a proper date recorded. Even James doesn’t know. The actual day swings from early May to mid-June, 2004. The May 25th date was just in the middle, so it’s the one on Wikipedia. November 2004 is PROBABLY correct though"
Another source for the inaccurate dates are IP additions throughout the page's years. At first, the episode was given a simple "2004" release - per the AVGN documentary. Then the following edits happened:
Thus, I undid the edits - just giving it a simple 2004 release - per the AVGN documentary. It's not the longest undetected vandalism, but it's close. Yoshiman6464 ♫🥚 23:12, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
UPDATE - A release of May 2004 was mentioned in an interview with Rolfe by the New York Daily News on April 8, 2014. So NOT 100% vandalism, just an uncited claim at the time. I added the citations for "May 2004" in both the episode and main pages; still no valid sources for the specific release dates. Yoshiman6464 ♫🥚 15:23, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
