would like
editWould like to encourage others to add to this article with interesting facts about Bahamians, pleaces to meet Bahamians etc.
This page should not be deleted because it is the start of a collection of articles behind Bahamians who are the people of the Bahamas. This will also include Famous Bahamians.
speech
editthere needs to be more info on the speech of bahamians. Gringo300 21:57, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

The result of the debate was no move. -- tariqabjotu (joturner) 23:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Requested move
editThe plural form Bahamians violates Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals). The proper form for the name of this article is Bahamian. As that name is currently a redirect, an administrator would have to perform the move. Please note below whether you support the move. -- Donald Albury(Talk) 22:31, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

- Oppose. This is barely useful as a portal, and contains information taht could be easily handled in Demographics of the Bahamas and either a List of notable Bahamians section in The Bahamas or, if large enough, a breakout of that article as List of notable people from the Bahamas to be compatible with category naming standards. --Dhartung | Talk 06:06, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose. Titles of ethnic group articles should be in plural (and most are, except Jew for an unknown reason), as they describe all of them rather than particular him. I wish I can find appropriate WP:NC though... Duja 13:31, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Comment But, I believe this article is about a nationality, not an ethnic group. After some more thought, I think the better solution is Bahamian people, similar to French people, Spanish people, etc. -- Donald Albury(Talk) 15:28, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
