Chelsea Peretti and her character are on maternity leave for the first roughly eight episodes of the season, making her a recurring character rather than main for this season. Matt14451 (talk) 14:28, 14 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

In S5E10, Jake claims that he changed his name legally to Jacob Sherlock Peralta - of course, we can't be sure if he was serious or not, but since he did imply it, should that be his apparent real name? Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 07:35, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

The article previously stated that he was wearing a "Gallantry Star" from the Williamsport, PA Bureau of Police. Peralta's character has never worked anywhere but NYPD, thus he would not have earned an award from another agency as an employee. Furthermore, police departments in different jurisdictions have medals and commendation bars that are the same, but given for different things. It's likely that the commendation bar is for something he's done at NYPD in the fictional world of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.160.196.254 (talk) 03:06, 5 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
