Notability

edit

This list is notable per the GNG and the WP:NRODEO which specifically mentions the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, rule #2 "Have been inducted into a national or international rodeo hall of fame such as the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum Rodeo Hall of Fame, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, or Bull Riding Hall of Fame." dawnleelynn(talk) 17:35, 13 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay Maybe you should slow down a bit? You are not matching some of the parameters with the other ones in the talk page. And if you change too many in one day, you are going to blow my Watch List away. There are over a couple hundred Rodeo articles. Never mind the fact that I asked very nicely to at least let us know what is going on, I mean since we've been maintaining these categories and wikiprojects for years... And I am not sure that the bull riding wikiproject needs to be on every rodeo article that is not another event, every organization or hall of fame, etc. We just have no say in what projects go where? You know collaboration is a two way street. For example, you just an article Cheyenne Frontier Days, and I don't think that needs to be in the bull riding project. By the way, that's my house. I live here in Cheyenne. And now my email is getting swamped with change notifications... sigh dawnleelynn(talk) 22:36, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay
Why does the List of Professional Bull Riders Champions have two bull riding projects in it? Isn't this overkill?
{{WikiProject Rodeo|class=list|importance=mid}} {{WikiProject Bull riding|class=list|importance=high}}

Why did John Brady (showman) have a bull riding project when his only (barely good enough reason to be in rodeo) was Whip Arts? dawnleelynn(talk) 22:56, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I hope I didn't upset you, I didn't mean to... I know you have good intentions. I just needed you to slow down and work with us a little bit. Thanks... dawnleelynn(talk) 23:15, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay Really? ReallY? You are doing more and you are doing them wrong. Again. Sigh. I will fix them all later when you are done playing. Thanks for nothing. dawnleelynn(talk) 23:29, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay Slow down, dude. Montanabw(talk) 23:46, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Dawnleelynn: @Montanabw: I didn't get any notifications until that last one, guys, did you actually link me? And what's wrong with tagging? I don't know half about the rodeo articles, if they're tagged and in the Unassessed category, someone can slowly work through rating and what's right. If yall do it another way, go ahead, but I'm just organizing best way I know how. Kyerjay (talk) 23:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay I wrote the pings wrong, so my thinking you were ignoring is my bad first of all. Yes, you can zoom through the tagging, we can't stop you. But most would match the parameters to the ones of the other wikiprojects that are in the project. And most of the articles you are tagging with the bull riding project don't belong. For example, a guy who is there for Whip Arts only, which I fixed. The only articles that need bull riding project are bulls, bull riders, bull riding organizations, bull riding "rodeos" like the PBR, CBR, etc., bull riding halls of fame, you get the idea. Not Cheyenne Frontier Days, the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, other rodeo performers, lists of rodeo champions, and a myriad of others I've seen that cover more events than just bull riding. What's wrong with tagging, you ask? Like I never even asked you to keep us in mind when making changes to the projects or categories. dawnleelynn(talk) 00:09, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kyerjay P.S. You created the project, wanted the project now, but point to us to fix the wikiproject tag parameters "as we prefer". We are stuck with the fallout of your project. We had no say in when it was done. It's not entirely fair you see. And if you had consulted with us instead, it could possibly been avoided or minimized. dawnleelynn(talk) 00:18, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
I never asked you to message me or be involved, and you don't have to clean it up. That's your choice. I was never required to consult with you, and you don't run this place. I shouldn't have to consider you or answer to you, wikipedia's free. Stick with it or don't, leave me alone. Kyerjay (talk) 15:49, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
