In article CCTV, which says In the US, it is only possible to receive channels CCTV-4 (overseas channel) and CCTV-9 (overseas channel targeted at an English-speaking audience) via a Digital Video Broadcast signal., therefore, I think CCTV4 and CCTV9 are broadcasting in English, not Chinese. --FallingInLoveWithPitoc 15:18, 18 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Both CCTV-4 and CCTV-9 can be viewed on television sets throughout Mainland China; in this manner, I do not believe either should be excluded from the list. In addition, CCTV-9 routinely airs programs designed at foreigners wishing to increase their proficiency of the Chinese language. -Taoster
