I dont think long-running characters like Mavis and Ivy should be merged to lists. There is huge potential for such characters and plenty of real world info available for both.GunGagdinMoan05:01, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I should probably reply to this since I did it. Basically they've been laying in wait for years, with no sign of anyone coming along for such an overhaul, and there were so many articles like it I thought putting all the exceptionally poor ones in one place may be a bit more manageable, and I personally would like to encourage IPs and the like to build on the lists first and transfer the content back to the page when it's reached an acceptable standard, as we now do with current characters. After I did the major moves, I intended on slowly working my way through them myself, but I've had to cut back on editing recently so my own goals have had to be put aside. I guess I wouldn't object to them being moved back, but what would it achieve? They have potential yes, but is anyone going to devote any time to them? Well im strapped for time at the moment as have multiple assignments due in (why im up so bloody late!), but I will do some when I get the chance, and other users like Raintheone and Frickative may be able to help as I know they have contributed to Corrie articles a lot. Let's leave them here for now, they can always be moved back, sadly though the images get lost when things are listified, but they can always be restored by an admin. Past characters dont get much editing on corrie pages, but these two who spanned so long are definitely notable so seems a shame to leave them in lists indefinitely. Do you know of regular corrie editors. Maybe a collaboration could be done? GunGagdinMoan03:43, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
