Focus city
editA focus city is essentially a secondary, minor hub, or as Focus city puts it : "a focus city is a location that is not a hub, but from which the airline has non-stop flights to several destinations other than its hubs.". This does not apply to any of the cities listed on this list, as CY has no scheduled non-stop flights from anywhere except LCA and PFO. I am therefore amending the list accordingly.
Paphos fits the definition of a focus city, as it - in contrast to a hub - does not offer any CY connecting flights to other airports. Travelbird (talk) 09:06, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

greek islands.
editi have added all the greek island that cyprus airways will fly to as of this year. because of the code share agrement with olympic. cyprus airways are alowed to use some of there routs. so please dont deleat them. it is all correct. you can even look on there web site. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.9.111.236 (talk) 20:35, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- I removed them again. Cyprus Airways doesn't fly there. They can simply ticket Olympic Airlines flights, whose aircraft & crew are always used on these flights. Code-share agreements are in place between many airlines, and those destinations are never included as the aircraft of these airlines never actually fly there. E.g Lufthansa has a code-share with United and thus United flight numbers exist e.g. for flights between Frankfurt & Berlin - but that doesn't mean that Berlin Tegel Airport is a United destination.
