"Lord SkullScorpiomon"
editSo yeah I saw you guys used that. Technically, all of the generals and commanders are called "Lord" (-sama) - the Digimon Wiki just used that on our Bagura page to differentiate him from all of his troops. For how you guys use it here, you can just remove the "Lord", it's unnecessary.12.53.10.226 (talk) 16:38, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Darkness Bagramon
editSomebody needs to actually watch this page and stop letting the anons insert stupid shit about DarknessBagramon, both because (1) the episode won't be out for two more weeks, (2) none of the anons are actually using citations and sources like WIKIPEDIA'S BASIC TENETS REQUIRE, and (3) what info we do have indicates that DarkKnightmon will be in control of the Xros, anyway.98.223.102.157 (talk) 23:44, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Look, DarknessBagramon has been confirmed to appear in the series finale. Anything else beyond that fact at this time will be dealt with.Fractyl (talk) 19:18, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
- ...so yeah, the actual episode appeared, and showed that it was not at all DarkKnightmon giving his power to Bagramon. Good show there, Fractyl, totally ignoring Wikipedia's verifiability policies and getting shown as totally wrong. Impressive.184.17.121.168 (talk) 21:57, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- First off, I said that DarknessBagramon is appearing in the events of the series finale that has been CONFIRMED. What other info there is not needed until otherwise. Secondly, you decided a mass reversion would solve it? Like you said, you had no proof that "DarkKnightmon will be in control of the Xros". Fractyl (talk) 02:40, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

- No, I said the opposite of that, actually.72.12.219.170 (talk) 23:45, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
"The following Digimon are owned by Taiki"
editWow. No. They are allied with him.72.12.219.170 (talk) 23:45, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Ashely and Zachariah
editSo yeah, according to the actors actually working on the show, these names are complete BS.192.249.47.181 (talk) 21:51, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
None of these name changes are official except for Mikey, who ever went and changed all of the names please provide an official source before making any changes your information is misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3397:E4F0:ED03:72AE:749B:172B (talk) 21:08, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
Name changes without an official source
editThere is no Ashley, Zachary, Yule, Kevin, Angeline or whatever names in the dub and there is no official source claiming that these will be the names in the dub, so stop changing names and providing people with misleading information. The only name change Mikey has been confirmed by Saban itself, but the others are just some names some one made up. I googled these names myself and all I found was some guys Digimon Fusion fanfiction with these names in them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3397:E4F0:7179:AF78:89E2:80F0 (talk) 20:17, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Addition of original research/uncited material
editThere have been numerous attempts recently (such as [1]) to change content in the article without attributing the alterations to a source. Regardless of whether the changes are accurate or not, WP:Verifiability requires that all new content added to the article must be accompanied by a WP:Reliable source. Promising to "add one later" is not sufficient; a source should be added simultaneously. If you do not have sources currently at hand please wait until you do or draft the alterations in the sandbox in your userspace and add them in once they are available. Setmon or Setmons
editWith the Sun-Wheel army (Apollomon/Apollomon Whispered/Whispered's army (The nominal Death General, their hybrid form and the true Death General)): There are multiple Bullmon, multiple Oryxmon, multiple Gorillamon, multiple Reppamon, multiple Dobbermon and multiple Grizzlymon. How many Setmon are in the army? Are there any besides the one: that became Setmon Wild Mode; that was present during the battle plan meeting with Yuu/Ewan, DarkKnightmon/AxeKnightmon, Apollomon Whispered, Lilithmon and Damemon; that accompanied Whispered during the battle in Hell's field, that fought Cyberdramon and later MetalGreymon, as well as became part of DeadlyTuwarmon Hell Mode? Just saying that when Mervamon saves Nene from a bunch of Sun-Wheel army soldiers before she (Nene) goes to Yuu/Ewan who is dueling Taiki/Mikey in the black castle (just before Whispered forms Apollomon Darkness Mode with Apollomon and DeadlyAxemon/Axemon), there seemed to be a Setmon or two among them. So how many Setmon are in the Sun-Wheel Army? One? Two? Three?
Arresterdramon Superior Mode equals Shoutmon DX?
editWhere is it indicated that Arresterdramon Superior Mode and Shoutmon DX are on similar par in terms of power?
SkullScorpionmon
editIs SkullScorpionmon considered a commander or just a member of a group of Digimon who act as staples of the Bagra army like Troopmon, Pteramon, Rhinomon, Tankmon, Chikurimon, Mammothmon and Minotarumon?
Lucemon part of Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode?
editAt what point was Lucemon shown becoming part of Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode?
Trimming down this list
editThe character list should only contain the characters as noted on the official websites.
- English website: 5 humans, 14 digimon: [2]
- Toei Japanese website: 26 characters: [3] and 10 voice cast [4]
- TV
TokyoAsahi Japanese website: 46 characters: 5 humans, 22 red team, 6 blue team, 7 green team, 6 purple team: [5] and 10 voice cast [6]
Optionally, characters can be added from the manga and the game if they are major characters.
I've organized the list to what was shown in the English website. Supporting characters from the official lists can be moved to fit under these teams. All other minor characters and guest appearances (especially the ones from the other Digimon shows) should be removed and mentioned only in the episode listings if they are starring for that particular episode. As you can see, the TV Tokyo site still has a ton of characters, so that should be good enough for detailing. Also note that the TV Tokyo website treats Shoutmon or Greymon's various fusions and configurations as separate characters. This wouldn't be necessary to separate as Shoutmon's entry can list these variants. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:02, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
The second and third season websites should also be incorporated:
- Toei animation: 18 characters [7], 15 voice cast [8]
- TV Asahi site: 3 humans, 30 red team, 7 blue, 19 green [9], 10 voice cast [10] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:02, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Well my attempts to edit have been reverted so I would like opinions on whether we should go with the new structure as listed in this edit. [11] It does not include the second or third season sites but you can see how it can easily expand for new characters. Regardless the article still needs a major cleanup as it is full of a ridiculous amount of unsourced cruft. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:02, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
I felt it was not the best way to do things. It did not reflect the entire story.
Michael Demiurgos (talk) 21:27, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Michael Demiurgos that is not an appropriate edit summary. Aside from that. Angus, I know nother about the series but I'd assume the characters are partnered between a human and digimon(singular and plural), so I'd group characters together and write it in a paragraph form like what I've done at No Game No Life or List of Zatch Bell! characters. If you really want to work on this article, I suggest starting a sandbox and gather consensus to overwrite Michael Demiurgos' structure. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 17:58, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
- I am about to revert the changes done by Michael Demiurgos as I see it as a WP:JDLI argument I have also yet to see @Michael Demiurgos: reply to any of this. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 21:12, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
"Michael Demiurgos that is not an appropriate edit summary.": How so?

"If you really want to work on this article, I suggest starting a sandbox and gather consensus to overwrite Michael Demiurgos' structure.": My structure? I was just using the structure already established. If I wanted to make my own structure, it would be different from the one I was adhering to.

- The conclusion from the AFD is that the article can be kept but that it needs a serious clean up as it contains way too many unimportant characters. I was proposing it be trimmed to major ones as recognized by the official anime websites (Japanese and English) cast lists and character lists. The TV Tokyo website organizes the characters list as humans on top, then their color teams. In the first season, the Fusion Fighters initially have 3 human members, who have their groups of digimon, and some of the other humans serve as opponents and rivals, some of whom would join the Fusion Fighters. If you don't like the Humans and Digimons main headers then as DragonZero suggested, the Digimon characters can be rewritten into the paragraphs under their masters. However, I feel characters like Shoutmon do need their own section. So far I have not deleted any characters, but I am proposing the returning ones be removed as well as minor characters like the parents or schoolmates. Episodic characters and any descriptions which are just rehashes of plot should be moved to the plot summary. Character lists aren't where to reflect the entire story. The episode lists are for that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:00, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
"Episodic characters and any descriptions which are just rehashes of plot should be moved to the plot summary.": Where do you feel that is occurring?
"Character lists aren't where to reflect the entire story.": It is to reflect their involvement in the story."
"The episode lists are for that.": True.
Michael Demiurgos (talk) 01:23, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
I for one agree that this list needs to be trimmed down, not expanded. I stick with my notion that we don't need to include minor minor characters that get killed off in one episode for example. Here are some good questions to ask: 1. Is the character essential to the story? 2. If Yes, how so? 3. Would the reader miss anything about the series if x character were NOT included? Sometimes its best for the reader to go watch/read the series, and judge things for themselves. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:39, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
"I stick with my notion that we don't need to include minor minor characters that get killed off in one episode for example.": An example of such a character?
Michael Demiurgos (talk) 01:25, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Examples? Any of the characters that aren't not mentioned in the primary lists detailed above are fair game for that like Noboru's team, and the parents and classmates of the main characters. Also the list of returning Digimon characters needs to be cut or severely trimmed to just which series they were originally from and their role in the current series. If they are just making appearances for the climactic battle, then that is the equivalent of a cameo/spinoff guest stars in a handful of episodes, they do not need to be listed. With the published lists, there will be about 30-40 characters which is a significant number to deal with regardless. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:53, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- If you do find characters that aren't listed in the primary list that have a significant and recurring (appears in 5+ episodes) in the series, you can retain those characters, just make sure their entries are well-sourced. This would apply for a boss character that appears late in the season that they didn't want to reveal as one of the regulars. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:57, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
I suppose you and I have differing opinions of what is worth including in the list of characters. I do not say that as an insult just as a matter of fact.
Digifused characters
editShould Digifused characters be listed separately? Example
- GreatestCutemon (グレイテストキュートモン GureitesutoKyūtomon): A DigiFusion of Cutemon with Dondokomon, Jijimon, ChibiTortomon, Beastmon, Knightmon and the PawnChessmon.
This can be done as a dictionary-styled list in alphabetical order for each team, like "Fusion Fighters DigiFusions" Throwing this entry under Cutemon, Donodomon, etc. would be redundant and confusing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:44, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
