Episode Titles
editFor series 3 and 4, the episodes originally aired in the UK under different titles than the ones listed; might I suggest modifying them to be "Original Title" ("International Title"). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eric3K (talk • contribs) 05:14, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Doc Martin logo.png
editThe image File:Doc Martin logo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The Three Films
editHey shouldn't we add the 3 movies too? I have two of them on dvd and they obviously deserve a part on this page! If you don't know already they are called: Saving Grace, Doc martin and Doc martin and the legend of the cloutie! Since i don't have an account just leave any replys on this page and i shall check weekly!
Add them under a title such as "Additional Episodes" etc. They are part of the Doc Martin saga but state that they are not part of this current series. Place the new section after series three. The Music Collector (talk) 00:44, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- If you want to add them, then do it. Nothing is getting in your way.--79.112.55.224 (talk) 13:23, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- NO. Don't add them! They are not part of the series! 'Saving grace' especially. How ill you explain that Martin has different last names?? The films are separate; they are connected with each other, but not with the series. The only thing linking them is that the series is inspired by the films and that there's the same actor. That's it! --12345abcxyz20082009 (talk) 20:17, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
series 5
editNothing quotable yet but apparently filming began this month (March 2011) in Port Isaac. Derekbd (talk) 16:39, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
no spoilers?
editThere are certain spoilers that should be revealed. Specifically, in episode 11, Phil Pratt's secret is that he's having an affair with another man. This is significant, because you don't see such things in American TV series. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 13:23, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
episode length less than 50min
editThe main article currently claims that the episodes are 50min in length. The episodes on the US DVD for Series 6 are actually 48min long. The episodes on the earlier Series DVDs are about 47min long.-71.174.188.32 (talk) 15:34, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Finale location
editInteresting that Leonard’s house in Last Christmas in Portwenn appears to be the location of Ross Poldark’s Nampara. Sbonser (talk) 15:32, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
Citation Overload
editDo we really need a citation for each season's DVD release? Tengu99 (talk) 01:29, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
