It said to discuss adding people on the talk page first. I'd suggest adding James Fairclough. He does not have his own wikipedia entry, but he was a cast member of season one of Full Metal Jousting[1]. He made it to the quaterfinals.

Should I make a wikipedia page for him and then add him to notable Drew people? I'm still new to this process. Keyes 01:06, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
- James Fairclough would be assessed per the WP:ENT notability standard, which defines an entertainer as notable if the following criteria are met:
- 1.Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions.
- 2.Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.
- 3.Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.
- Based on the information that you listed, I'm not sure if there is sufficient evidence of notability to create a Wikipedia page on him. The other contestants members on Full Metal Jousting do not have their own webpages. That being said, we may be able to add him to the Drew list based on other criteria. Tell us more about him? Has he made any significant contribution in the sporting world with show jumping or any other activities? What year did he graduate Drew? DavidinNJ (talk) 02:10, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
He graduated from Drew in 2009. He won the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association’s National Championship in 2008 (and the regional cup in that same year: the Cacchione Cup). Though based on the WP:ENT notability standard, I don't think he really fits for his own page. However, do you think this would be enough to add him to the Drew page?
I also think that his parents were Olympic riders, though I'm not sure how that really adds to his notability. Also, I'm having difficulty finding a source for that information. Kaleidscope-Eyes 02:54, 20 February 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaleidscope-eyes (talk • contribs)
- Unfortunately, at the current time, I don't think we can add him to the Drew list. I read through WP:ALMA and WP:ALUMNI, which discuss inclusion on a college alumni list, I don't think that he qualifies based on the information that is currently available. I've spent a bit of time working on Wikipedia alumni lists, and excluding fields where instantaneous fame is possible (e.g., Hollywood), it often takes a number of years for a person to become notable. I expect that in the future, Fairclough may be notable based on his equestrian skills, and at point we will add him to the list and create an article on him. If you find out more about Fairclough that adds to his notability, please tell me. DavidinNJ (talk) 03:50, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
