To clearify regulation changes over the years there's some textual infomarion. Obviously this list is still incomplete as it is hard to find complete information on the internet. The championships started much earlier than 1993, but information about the engine specification is hard to find. This what I know about the championship before '93:
- Michael Bleekemolen became Formula Ford champion in 1976.
- Cor Euser became Formula Ford champion in 1980 and 1981.
- Peter Gerhards became Dutch Formula Ford 2000cc champion of 1990 with the GEVA racing team.
- Rob Schellekens became Dutch Formula Ford 1600cc champion of 1991 with the GEVA racing team.
- Belgian driver Kurt Mollekens became both Dutch and Benelux 1600cc champion in 1992.
I also suspect that there was no 1800cc championship in '94 due to a lack of participants. The GEVA racing website mentions that there was no 1800cc in 94, but it confirms one in '95. I also have a book which confirms a low number of '93 1800cc participants. Please feel free to add any information you can confirm. Paul Klein talk
