Monobook black and green backgroud

I cant seems to see the text under the mono book skin with the black and green background enabled. When I highlight the area where the text is I can see it. Im not sure if its just my computer or the article, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any ideas? Creation7689 (talk) 20:01, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect information on timeline, says something about first time Congo involved in 200-, actually it was first reported in Congo(Zaire) immediately after it first popped up in the neighboring region

Where outbreaks have occurred

I see what you're saying, but It makes little difference either way when the current outbreak appears to be the first international one. Maybe we could differentiate Guinea from the others with indentation, size, italics, or something else. JamesDouch (talk) 12:32, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Separate articles for 1976 outbreaks?

Does anyone else think the 1976 Zaire and Sudan outbreaks warrant their own article in addition to being included in this list? There's significant information out there about both, and they were the first recorded instance of the disease. Right now, a lot of information about the Zaire outbreak is sitting in Yambuku, but it's not a comprehensive account. I'm a newish editor and would love to make that article, but I wanted to see what others who are interested in Ebola thought. --Rachelwalexander (talk) 14:50, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

I put a link to Yambuku in the see also section for now at least. My guess is that what you propose would be fine, but don't go by me. Non-human outbreaks

I assume this article refers to human cases only because the description of the Côte d'Ivoire outbreak implies that at least two wild chimpanzees were infected with TAFV, but only one case, the human, is recorded in the cases column. If I am correct, the 1989, 1992, and 1996 RESTV outbreaks do not belong in the list because they did not involve humans. If there are no objections in the next few days then I will remove them. Outbreak in Congo separate from the West Africa outbreak

2019 Ebola Outbreak in the DRC

I raised a point on the 2018 Kivu Ebola outbreak talk, but there is a new Ebola outbreak which is currently endemic and widespread. There is no discussion or corresponding article. Other Outbreaks

I cannot see the necessity to include outbreaks of other hemorrhagic fevers here; otherwise, it shouldn't be solely the Marburg virus. Missing outbreaks?

Should there be an entry for Tandala in 1977? Also, the 2005 outbreak may have involved Mbomo again. That's according to the list on page 72 of the 2014 book Ebola by David Quammen. The rest of the entries on the book's list seem to match up pretty well. Shanen (talk) 09:17, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
