Episode titles

So where did the epsiode titles come from.......?

A bit like the episode titles given (long after transmission) to the episodes of 'Fawlty Towers'. As far as I am aware, the episodes were not titled on original transmission, with the exception of episode 1 being called "Gavin & Stacey" as indeed were each of the subsequent episodes! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.120.172 (talk) 10:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
There only seems to be one source giving these titles - this one [1]. ALL other sources that I can find on the net, including the BBC [2], IMDb [3] and epguides [4] give series/number for the title, except epguides give a different title for S02E01!! I'll change them back to series/number for now unless someone has a verifiable source for episode titles. Robsinden (talk) 13:09, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's now 2012 and someone has once again added unreferenced episode titles, these titles should be reverted back to 'episode 1', e.t.c and so on. Also, why is the xmas special in the series 2 table. it was i=an independant special, not part of any series. Frogkermit (talk) 20:48, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Many, if not all, of the episode summaries have been lifted verbatim from this site. This is not acceptable here, and is a breach of copyright. What we are supposed to do is write the synopsis after the episode has aired, and in our own words. Since I haven't watched this programme, I can't do that myself, so I'll have to leave it up to you. Meanwhile, if it's not fixed within a week, the article will have to be nominated for deletion as being too full of breaches of copyright. I'll keep an eye on it. Moreover it is supposed to be a synopsis, not a listing hook. E.G. "Nessa reveals to Stacy that she is pregnant but fails to tell Smithy." not "Will Nessa tell Smithy her news?" Rich Farmbrough, 01:13, 6 July 2010 (UTC).Reply
