Walter and Perry
editI seem to recall hearing on the DVD commentaries that Walter and Perry were named after legendary Chicago Bears players Walter Payton and William "Refrigerator" Perry. Can anyone back this up? -63.155.216.163 (talk) 07:04, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
Lynch
editI think that Lynch should be moved back to the Major characters section because all of the other main characters listed appeared in all 52 HM episodes (with the exception of McGuirk who appeared in 51), while Lynch only appeared in 18 episodes. Plus, Lynch's role isn't as important in the show as Jason, Melissa, Paula, or McGuirk. 71.59.112.181 07:04, 29 December 2007 (GMT)
Article assessment
editI have rated this article as start class because of the lack of secondary sources and omission of some important information e.g. who created these characters? These categories are arbritrary and are subject to review by any editor who feels confident to do so. Please note that a more formal assessment by other editors is required to achieve good article or featured article status. I used criteria from the television wikiproject guidelines here, article about TV series guidelines here and the assessment guidelines here.--Opark 77 08:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Is there a class worse than "start"? If so, it might be time to break that one out. This article is just a complete jumble of nonsense. This is a "list of Home Movies characters" people, not a list of random episode antidotes. Yes, I could fix it myself, but I have no interest in putting in a lot of work for something that is just going to get reverted. - Marvin01 | talk 14:37, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Limiting to critical information
editI think we should get rid of factoids that only appear for a single episode. For example, Jason's description includes: "He...suffers from eczema on his knees, elbows, groin and scalp." This is only mentioned in passing in one episode, (and is kind of a throw-away line at that rather than any serious character trait). At most it should be included in that episode summary, rather than here. On the contrary, "He has suffered dangerous and extreme attacks of sugar addiction..." is a major plot point in two episodes, so it's definitely worth mentioning here. Any opinions one way or the other? Torc2 (talk) 07:35, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:HomeMovies WalterPerry1.png
editImage:HomeMovies WalterPerry1.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Duane saying he is 15 in "Guitarmageddon?"
editI have seen this episode several times, and after reading, "Duane said he was 15 in "Guitarmageddon", although he was seen driving a car in the same episode." from this article, I watched the episode with specific attention and could not find where he supposedly says this. I was going to delete it but realized it might be part of some additional footage or something on the DVD, which I don't have so wouldn't know about. But to my knowledge this statement is false. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewlargemanjones (talk • contribs) 23:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Cameo
editI think the Coach's cameo in Family Guy Blue Harvest should be mentioned. i had an image up but i think its gone now, but it should be noted. Yami (talk) 19:26, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I disagree. How is that relevant to the character? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.3.33.102 (talk) 17:11, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Someone made this redirect into an article. Mostly the material was copied from this parent article. Is there any need for this character to have a stand-alone article? I went ahead and put it back as redirect, but please discuss and if there's consensus otherwise revert me. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 23:23, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
