i've removed the previous listing of "hungarian radio stations" (see earlier version) because it seemed to be a random selection of stations: national and regional, large and small - also quite brief. there are about a hundred stations licensed in hungary (my estimate) and many are regional broadcastings of larger stations, while many others are really small local stations (eg. university radios etc.) and of course there are a number of temporarily licensed, unlicensed or pirate stations as well as countless internet-broadcasting "radios".
the ones now featured are a) what most Hungarian people listen to; b) the three state-subsidised stations (Bartók, Kossuth and Petőfi); 3) two of the first-ever budapest community stations that still operate (namely Tilos and Civil);
so there are really a lot of smaller stations not listed - my aim was a representative list rather than a complete one.
