Record Inconsistencies
editHello all!
When comparing many of the records here to those found on the official records-page provided by the International Paralympic Committee, there are many inconsistencies present. For this reason, there is a need for a clean-up of most the article, in an attempt to correct multiple contradictions. However, it is a great deal of effort to go through every single record by one's self; so, this has been written as a reminder to any who are willing: Please compare the records with the official IPC ones, and include the IPC reference (conveniently titled "IPC") to all records present which are among the official records - and yes, this will provide many '[1]' references throughout the page. For example, in regard to record inconsistencies, even within the 100m Freestyle event, the S14 record is already different: It is now held by Thomas Hamer, from Great Britain, with a time of 52.08s, set in Manchester, in 2017.
This does act as (somewhat of) an expansion on the previous section here.
Thank you to all who participate in this initiative to provide a consistent, detailed collection of information on para swimming events!
(And this has been posted on the other sections of the main article, and the main article itself.)
