Flags

edit

I propose that flags be added to countries as it can be helped to scan for that country. I have read they can be used for that if wanted.

They don't really help much. I find most hard to ID most of them. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 23:20, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I find them helpful, I appreciate you're point of view. I read tho that they are allowed to be used as I said before. I would enjoy it if they could stay. Thanks.

Destinations in question

edit

Several destinations in the terminated section are referenced to blog submissions from aviation related sites. For instance, the inclusion of New York is referenced to an entry in which the writer admits not knowing for sure if this information is accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.202.34.28 (talk) 04:18, 12 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Terminated destinations

edit

The terminated destination format has been on ongoing debate to how it should be layed out. I have accepted how it should be layed out, for example

Asia
  • United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi

but I feel this is not living up to full standards and therefor I have changed the style to keep it on the guide lines but to link the continents, countries and the cities as it is much more effective and useful. Comments welcome. Zaps93 (talk) 11:09, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not a change for the better, IMO. In any event, why make a selective edit only here? Why not discuss at the project page first? amd what is "full standards"? Whose "full standards" are these? Jasepl (talk) 12:42, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry bad choice of words 'full standards' that is, but I feel it is an improvement to the page, maybe you don't feel so, but like you said its you opinion and I am not gotta argue with your opinion. I feel it is better as it links the cities which aren't listed on the page, like you would have to go to the top of the page to search for Abu Dhabi when you could easily click on the link. I shall put my point across at the page. Thanks, Zaps93 (talk) 13:01, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

No need edit reverted.115.42.64.179 (talk) 16:41, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

As discussed before, do not change till a decision has been decided. Zaps93 (talk) 16:49, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry Zaps/Joey, how can a decision be made, when it hasn't been brought up for discussion? You made the change several days ago to suit your preferences without discussing it appropriately. And it's still not been discussed. My view is to retain the original agreed-upon format until (if) your version gets consensus. Thanks. Jasepl (talk) 19:36, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, now that you put it that way, yes, revert. Although the Joey bit? That has confused me. Zaps93 (talk) 19:38, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Destinations and map

edit

Germany is served according to arabic website, FRA shows up in updated schedules every week and so does malmo, update map.116.71.44.238 (talk) 20:40, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's incorrect information I'm afraid. I thought it was correct myself, but looking in to it, they revamped their old website www.iraqiairways.co.uk and relaunched it in December 2009. It lists every destination except Malmo and Frankfurt. If what you say 'Malmo is a charter' we do not list it, if it was seasonal we would. Hope that clears up any info. Terminated destinations map needs updating, include spain in there, as for arabic website I doubt the information is false.116.71.62.7 (talk) 19:40, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's not a proper one, all that information seems false compared to the new one, the new one also includes Arabic and as for the map I'll sort it now. Zaps93 (talk) 19:52, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Map is still wrong it shows Myanmar as Vietnam, and dosent show Yougoslavia, USSR, E & W Germany N & S Yemen nor united Czechoslovakia a sthey were back then.

New webiste only caters UK market, its not accurate. 118.103.238.233 (talk) 17:22, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The map doesn't matter of back then and the new website also covers Arabian information. It's accurate. Zaps93 (talk) 19:06, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Map still showing Myanmar as Vietnam.116.71.53.181 (talk) 18:35, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
