Hatnote

Just to avoid starting an edit war, I felt it would be best to discuss this here.
I understand your desire for a hatnote, but I still don't think this article needs one. Per WP:HATNOTERULES, a hatnote should only be placed "if there is a reasonable possibility of a reader arriving at the article either by mistake or with another topic in mind." I find it unlikely, however, that any reader would end up at a page for 'List of Biden endorsements' if they were actually looking for a list of Harris endorsements.

- Given that the Kamala endorsements also aren't widely linked yet on Wikipedia, I imagine a number of people ending up here and then wanting to quickly find the Kamala endorsements. Not everyone uses search to navigate. At some point, perhaps, it is worth removing but not yet. Superb Owl (talk) 15:24, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- I disagree. The solution is to link the Harris article more widely, not to place an unneeded hatnote here. If readers want to find a list of endorsements for Harris, there's no reason why they would end up on this page. Loytra (talk) 15:52, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
