Number discrepancies

edit

As of 28 March 2024 Ian Rush is listed as 602 appearances in just 2 years. This is obviously insane. Can someone verify? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dahuey37 (talkcontribs) 23:19, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Outstanding players?

edit

Thierry Henry, Ian Rush, Enzo Marezca, David Platt, Nestor Combin, Daniel Fonseca, Renato Buso, Sergio Porrini, Stefan Reuter, Thomas Hassler, Edwin wan der Sar and any other ARE NOT notable Juventus players because they have not an outstanting performance in their years with the torinese team. Del Piero, Buffon, Trézéguet, Camoranesi, Nedved and Zalayeta are still JFC players, not "former". Where is the criteria for make the article? --Dantetheperuvian 20:47, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nationality

edit

A nationality NOT is if any player has played for a country. IS for a born. Camoranesi, for example, has never played by Argentina but HE, and the Italian press, knowns him as "italo-argentino" (Italian-Argentine) because he has born in Argentina, not in Italy. It's the same case of Monti and Orsi (they also have played for Argentina), Cesarini, Sernagiotto (and notable former Brazilian Juve player) and Angelo Schiavo (he plays for Bologna). All they were called "oriundi" because, as consequence of fascism in 1930s, the foreign players cannot plays in Italy and all have Italian parents. If the real object of this article is TO RIDICULE the Juventus history (you don't known that), please don't write here. --Dantetheperuvian 01:17, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

About this article

edit

According this:

  • Barbero, Sergio (2001).

And this:

I added list of OUTSTANDING Juve players (players with OUTSTANDING performance at the Old Lady). As Orsi, Monti and Cesarini were called in Italy as "oriundi" (it's explain as reference in the article), they have (as Trézéguet and Camoranesi NOW) double nationality. Henry, Rush, Platt and other are outstanding players but they ARE NOT a outstanding Juve performance. IMHO, they ARE NOT in the list. Please, NOT delete the article (its introduction is based in Liverpool list of players and Manchester United list of players, BOTH featured articles).
The Platini's quote is real and have DOUBLE FIFA.com link. Please, NOT DELETE THAT! Thanks. --Dantetheperuvian 21:26, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Carlos Tevez?

edit

Tevez has only 95 official matches in Juventus, but he deserves to be put on this list. His both seasons were fantastic and he scored a lots of goals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.38.118.176 (talk) 06:52, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
