SDP MPs

The article seems inconsistent about Labour MPs who later joined the SDP in 1981 or afterwards. For instance Bill Rodgers is correctly listed as a Labour MP until his resignation from the party to join the new SDP as a founding member in 1981. However the other three members of the "Gang of Four" are not here yet David Owen was a Labour MP when the SDP was formed and Shirley Williams and Roy Jenkins had both been Labour MPs in the past (and all four had been Labour cabinet ministers]]. Other Labour MPs to switch to the SDP in 1981 not included in the list include Tom Ellis, Eric Ogden and John Grant. I think they should be added as they were Labour MPs despite eventually leaving the party and some SDP defectors are included. In addition to Rodgers, Dickson Mabon is here, though I would suggest his date of service be changed as from 1981 to 1983 he was an SDP member. Dunarc (talk) 22:43, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
