- Q: Why are only a limited amount of characters represented in the table? The series have had more characters appear then the numbers represented in the table.
- A: The "Recurring cast and characters" section table includes all characters that have appeared in or are confirmed to appear in at least two Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) television seasons, as a member of the principle ("main") cast for at least one of those.

- A: This list is only about series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If a TV series is not part of the MCU (such as Legion), it is not listed, even if it has characters from Marvel Comics. Upcoming TV series are not listed until a reliable source places it in the MCU.
