"List of Midwestern cities by size" could refer to any country. Please discuss. Shane 13:04, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see the need for it. Is there evidence of "Midwest" being used in any other country? It looks like even Brazil's "Center West" is only "Mid West" when translated to English. —mjb 19:17, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Actually there is a region in Australia refered to as the Midwest region. I'm sure there are others too. Sfacets 12:24, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Is this encyclopedic? What is the definition of "Midwest"? What purpose does the article serve? There are no parallel regional city lists for the US. --Dhartung | Talk 03:55, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- So perhaps it should be deleted? Wikipeda is not the U.S. census. —Centrx→talk • 02:30, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Chicago is the only city named Chicago. I'm sure when people see "Chicago" they will understand this list is for the United States of America. =P DUHHHHH
- There is a Port Chicago, CA, east of San Francisco Bay...207.210.134.83 (talk) 14:48, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Metro areas
editI would rather see a list of Midwestern metropolitan areas by size. Does anyone have such a list? Add it to the article in a separate section, if you do. Thanks —mjb 19:17, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
The List
editIs it just me or is this list way too long (commas are missing in over half the list, someone became a little too lazy) maybe we could shorten it to the top 100 or 150. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atilla5 (talk • contribs) 02:18, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- Top 100 sounds good to me. 207.210.134.83 (talk) 14:50, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
400 million in Wichita?
editThe population figure for Wichita, KS is clearly very wrong. 94.254.62.88 (talk) 13:28, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
Inverse Colors for Growth/Decline
editAs of this writing, the article seems to present the flow of time as moving from 2020 to 2010, as it shows positive green text for when a city lost population from 2010 to 2020. The colors should be inversed. GalacticJustice (talk) 03:15, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
