For anyone's interest, Episode 9 "Tornado" is where a Tornado passes not to far from the Owens house in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. About 4 months earlier to the airing of this episode, the 1985 United States – Canadian tornado outbreak had occurred and a tornado of F3 intensity passes not too far from Beaver Falls in real life. A short clip of this twister is shown briefly during the episode.
A question regarding chronology:
editIs it better to view the episodes in the order they have been aired or in the production order? Does it make any difference at all?
Thanks --79.252.154.174 (talk) 15:35, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Listing order
editDiscussion at WP:DRN closed as premature. However, I don't see the reason to put production orders; is it a self-interest and against interests of general readers? Why inserting too much detail that would bore readers? --George Ho (talk) 18:25, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
Okay George. You win. But what do you mean by "closed as premature"? I didn't say anything disrespectful?
- Oh... I meant, the discussion that I started at WP:DRN was premature, so it was closed. By the way, would you mind if I revert everything back to the table format? I'm still working on it. --George Ho (talk) 22:06, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
- The table format is more widely used (eg NCIS (season 2) List of Star Trek: Voyager episodes Friends_(season_3)) so I'd favour using it. I think it looks much nicer, though it does make the article harder to edit if you're a klutz at markup like me. The level of detail is always up for discussion, some folks love all the trivia and it drives others mad. And I'm not getting into the argument of production date vs airdate if you're disagreeing on that. I'd suggest reading other lists of episodes of anything on Wikipedia, to see what 's the norm. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 23:07, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
Go right ahead. Revert everything back to the table format.
- If you type 4 tildas after your posts ~~~~ it signs your name. Always nice to be able to see who says what in a discussion :) Elen of the Roads (talk) 22:56, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
