edit- Most of the formatting that took place on this page is fine, however one change that should not have been made was changing the links to team names to their general page names, rather than the season-specific names. This needs to be changed back so that, for example, in Byron "Whizzer" White's 1940 season, the "Detroit Lions" link directs to 1940 Detroit Lions season, as these links are not to an overall franchise history, but to a specific season. Only when a specific season does not exist should these links default to the team's main page. Bill shannon (talk) 05:38, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

AFL leaders
editThe NFL may recognize AFL stats now, but they didn't at the time, so I don't think it's appropriate to list the AFL leaders here. And even though they do recognize the stats, the seasonal leaders remain separate; which is why Gale Sayers is recognized as the rushing leader for 1966 and not Jim Nance. This would be brought up as a WP:SCOPE concern if this article were nominated for FL. Lizard (talk) 15:02, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
