Orphaned references in List of National Treasures of Japan (archaeological materials)

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of National Treasures of Japan (archaeological materials)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "bunkacho":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:44, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Kofun

edit

Needs a copy edit I think: "The starting date of the Kofun period (circa 250–300 AD) is defined by the appearance of large scale keyhole-shaped mound tombs, thought to mark imperial burials.[28][31] There are about 30,000 of these mound tombs or kofun.[3" implies that all 30k are "thought to mark imperial burials" - I forget the actual figure but it's around 100. The smaller ones are not usually key-hole shaped I think. Johnbod (talk) 20:07, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, of course the 30k figure includes all tombs. I'll have a look at it and reword. bamse (talk) 10:03, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Fixed with this edit. I removed the 30k, which did not really add to the article anyway. bamse (talk) 16:45, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
