Alphabetizing disregarding leading common articles (A, An, The)

Apologies if I stepped on any toes with this edit, as I (wrongly) assumed it was addressed in the Wikipedia Manual of Style. I recommend adjusting the order of any lists currently in alphabetical order to disregard leading common articles (such as A, An, The), as is guidance in almost every other widely-used English-language style guide (APA, Chicago Manual of Style, etc.) Would like to get others' thoughts on making this change. I don't recommend changing the other of any lists organized in chronological order - just the ones already in alphabetical order.Nisf (talk) 16:51, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
