It can't be sortable because of the colspans. I believe the issue was raised at the FLC for the Phillies list too, and it passed. Sortability was part of the criteria then too. KV5 (Talk • Phils) 15:35, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
You could just skip those colspans and add a note in the year after "no first-round pick" explaining why the previous year was skipped. Sortability would be very useful here. I don't see why it can't be applied.--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 16:26, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The reason is 1. to make the table sortable, 2. there isn't any harm in omitting years 79-83, 86-89 and 2003 since those didn't have a first-round draft pick, 3. you can indicate why those years aren't there through a note on the subsequent year.--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 18:01, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
