Why doesn't this list have a star if it is a featured list?
editLike List of sultans of the Ottoman Empire has a star top right? Chidgk1 (talk) 12:00, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- Little late to party here, but hey, the topic is still live on the Talk page.
- I don't believe this list was ever featured, so it wouldn't have a star. Did you see it on a featured list someplace? Pedantical (talk) 04:10, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
Marriage template tidying
editI've been cleaning up some of the marriages column data and making the marriage templates follow a similar style for the whole article.
There might quite a few comments in them right now, but I'd like to propose adding in the "Omission per Template:Marriage instructions" hidden comment for now, in cases where the end-date and end-reason should be left blank where it is due to the death of the subject (rather than the spouse's death, indicated with "end=died").
Some of them don't have an end year or a reason specified still, so leaving the comments around will help me chip away at this list given the sheer number of transclusions of the marriage template :)
(I'll also throw out that I'll also be chipping away at formatting all noted marriages with the marriage template where appropriate)
Hopefully this will make it easier to parse through the lists more easily too! Let me know if this is stepping on anyone's toes! Pedantical (talk) 04:07, 29 March 2023 (UTC) Pedantical (talk) 04:07, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
