Starr
editOne man's war establishes Starr as ex-GSG-9, which is a police unit, not military special ops. I'll change the article accordingly. 193.17.243.1 (talk) 08:43, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
God
editCould perhaps do with a bit on the character of God seeing as how he differs somewhat from traditional views and plays a remarkably large role (Custers quest to find him, saving Tulip, his role in the creation of The Saint) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.138.65 (talk) 18:28, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Merge the Allfather?
editTags on Allfather D'Aronique suggest merging it here. It seems to have been pretty much done so I'd suggest switching that entry to a redirect. Unless someone objects in the next day or so I'll sort it out. (Emperor 19:17, 23 January 2007 (UTC))
Jody and TC merge
editAgain there are tags suggesting a merge (already discussed on the main Preacher talk page) and as this seems to have been done to here then switching the entry to a redirect is a formality but again I'll leave a day or so for objections to be raised). (Emperor 19:33, 23 January 2007 (UTC))
Move
editThe name needs a small "c" so this needs to be moved. Some suggestions had previously been made before this entry was created and I'd suggest we aim for: List of minor characters in the Preacher comics. This tends to follow the precendents set by similar entries (see the category I added). Ideas? Suggestions? (Emperor 23:45, 23 January 2007 (UTC)(
Genesis is dead
editIs it actually dead? To be fair, he appeared having escaped Jesse's now-dead brain, but would his host dying kill him (it?) ? It's one of the few loose ends, after all the effort in book 8 tying up pretty much every other one. Presumably there's no angels left to capture him, unless the Adephi were all hiding in wine barrels again. I can only imagine he floated off, perhaps to find somebody else with a strong will. Or maybe Jehovah zapped him before his return to Heaven. Anyway, whichever, he isn't shown being killed.

More characters who could be added
editThe Reaver/Cleaver; John Custer and "Spaceman"; Featherstone; Hoover; Detectives Tool and Bridges; Amy
Are all more important than, say, Conan Quincannon, who appears in maybe three or four pages.Lordparadise (talk) 14:22, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Images (lack thereof)
editI dont get wikipedia. Why in hell did they get rid of both the pictures of two of the tree protagonists and the series' main antagonist since the second tpb? Seriously, are we desperately trying to make wikipedia as un informative as possible? --New Babylon 2 (talk) 19:25, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Arseface's motivation for suicide incorrect
editIt is fairly clear in the comic that Arseface did not attempt suicide because he has been "pushed to the edge by his father". He kills himself because that is what Kurt Cobain did and his friend did. This is clear if you read the scene in Preacher Vol. 4: Ancient History (I forget the exact issue of the first-run comic). While not only a factual error, it also (in my opinion) detracts from the "pathetic"-ness of the act (obviously a POV statement) to state he had a motivation other than this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.230.106 (talk) 14:13, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
"a star for starr"
editSince the german word for star is Stern, while starr is an actual and very common german word, meaning fixedly, stiff, unflexible etc., it would be very unlikely those german schoolboys carved a star in Starrs head only because his name reminded them of a star. --User118 (talk) 20:44, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Lorie / Lorrie
editThis character's name is spelled inconsistently on this page. Someone knowledgeable should search for and replace whichever instances are misspelled. TIA WavSlave (talk) 04:36, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
- It's "Lorie" - I'll update it. Cheers. Chaheel Riens (talk) 07:34, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
