The Saiyans Have Been Raped

I'm sorry, but that's the only thing that can accurately describe the monstrous events that have taken place. First, nearly every article made on a Saiyan was condensed into one or two paragraphs per character and stuck in this article. Then, all of the images on this page have randomly disappeared. Now, the entire article of Broly has been deleted. So a character that has been in three feature films, plus about half a dozen video games, is suddenly no longer noteworthy? Yet characters like Lawrence Gordon (Saw), who has only been featured in one movie and one comic (with a split-second cameo in another movie), continues to have his own article? I think that there is a general bias against certain forms of fictional media, on the whole, across Wikipedia. The S 02:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, although some Saiyans aren't worth much, you have a point there. Some characters regardless of screentimes and importance just don't matter to Wikipedia. You could say their importance to the story was paramount and STILL the know-it-all admins would just ignore your statement. Example, Vegetto is worthy of an article because he isa fusion of two main characters but as I said does story importance don't matter to some Wikipedians. I'm looking Specifically at the guy who approved and carried out the deletion f Vegetto's article.

Yes, this is a stupid thing indeed. Its not just dragon ball Z. They did the same thing to Bionicle and Digimon.

Vegetto Name spelling

In the Funimation dub, his name wasn't spelled Vegito. It was spelled Vegetto. This can also be proven by two of episode names Meet Vegetto and Vegetto... Downsized. So I'm deleting this. It's only spelled Vegito in the Budokai games. Ryu Ematsu

The recent cleanup

While I myself have been pondering how to tidy this thing up, I don't agree with how it currently is. Whereas before it just looked sloppy, it now looks... amateurish. And both Onio and Onion are totally gone. The S 05:49, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Zorn?

I recall seeing some time ago that King Vegeta's advisor was named Zorn. Is this indeed true? Searching Zorn + Saiyan on Google only yields fanfiction and RP's, whereas any sites that would indicate that this Saiyan is indeed named Zorn do not resolve. The S 19:44, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

You are correct, at least the English dub refers to this Saiyan as Zorn. However, his role is so minor, I don't think he's really worth a mention. He may have only one line and it was only one scene and had no impact on the story at all. Oh P.S. he's in the episode called "Fighting Power One Million" if you decide to learn about him or get a picture, i was trying with the picture but my stupid media player won't work right with the print screen, i know it normally doesn't but it used to and now i can't make it work again, there isn't really a clear solo image of him, King Vegeta is in most of the shots.

Tullece

If someone thought that Tullece didn't deserve his own article enough to stick him in here (which hurts my head with the lack of logic), they could have at least touched upon the important parts of his history... his appearance as a ghost warrior in DBZ Gaiden isn't even mentioned. Celipa

Celipa is not Goku's mother. Son Goku was born during the time she and Bardock's other crew were destroying Kanassa. There is also no indication in the Bardock special to support this conclusion. User:Karritto 1:52, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

It could have been a secret relationship, and Fasha could have easily suggested that the birthing was the previous day in order to avoid rumours of her sexual relationship with Bardock spreading around. And another thing: Fasha bears a striking resemblance to Videl, Bardock's granddaughter-in-law. It only fits that Goku is the son of Bardock and Fasha and that they wanted to keep the whole thing a secret. Where was it actually proven that Goku was born during the Kanassa Invasion, other than Fasha suggesting it? Jienum

I'd just like to note that Videl wasn't from Goku's bloodline, but Mr. Satan's. So, resembling Videl is irrelevant.

Cell

Vegeta Jr.

His section says that Bra claimed to be his grandmother. I don't think Bra was even shown in the future. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

Well I don’t really remember who was shown in the future but I would have to say that it is more likely that its trunks descendent due to the fact that bra got an x chromosome from her father which would mean that who ever she had kids with would replace with their y if they had a boy though some of vegeta's DNA would still be floating around it would be more reasonable to think that its Trunk's descendent given they fact that the y chromosome would be around for at least one more generation and given the strong resemblance I think that is a safe conclusion to make. First, do you think we should add Tiencha or whatever his name is to the Misc section? We have Onio and he's not even a DBZ character, but a character from a parody of DBZ. Scratch that. King Vegeta

King Vegeta's bio states he is the only full blodded saiyan in the anime who doesn't have black hair, but in Kollifum's and Saegi's bio it says they don't have black hair either. Can anyone shed some light? Or do we need to change King Vegeta's info a little? CPitt76 02:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

The same day?

Ok if you going to put the story togther it be like this. King Vegeta order the killing of Broly earlier that day. And for info that same day King Vegeta was killed on Freeza's ship when he went to confront Freeza and rescue his son (Vegeta) and get him back from Freeza's hands. Freeza killed K. Vegeta first hand with a swift kick that killed K. Vegeta. So that happened second and after that was when Burdock (Bardock) confronted Freeza and Freeza killed him and destroyed the Planet Vegeta. So ya all that happened in the same day.

This section should really be called Broly

Who said Broly was born as a Super Saiyan, thats the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. Goku had a power level of over a million before he became a Super Saiyan so this is extreamly unlikely. In The only glimpses of broly as a baby and even a teenager he still wasn't a Super Saiyan. Uh, the movie says so. And in the flash backs to when he was a teen he *was* a Super Saiya-jin already. That's why his aura was pink. The color shifting for the flash back made it pink when it would have otherwise been golden. Merging important characters like Vegetto and Gotenks was a stupid idea. There's lots of information about them and their attacks that can and actually was expanded upon. Whoever came up with the idea of merging these two articles is retarded.

Whats with this talk about Burdock(Bardock) only being in a movie and manga?

I know for a fact during the fight with Freiza in the show, Burdock(bardock) is shown in a flash back saying my Son lives. also Freeza is spelled wrong, its Frieza spelled with a i before e. Also King Vegeta appeared in the show as well. He was seen talking to a child Vegeta about his birthright and about the legendary super Saiyan. Anime filler = Anime, Improve Bra and Pan's section.

I've removed the Anime Filler with Anime only. Anime filler basically means they only exist in the Anime, the filler word is not needed, as the article talks freely about Movies and GT. Second, somebody please improve the grammar in Bra's section, third, howcome Bra gets a paragraph and a picture while Pan only gets a line? Burdock

Shouldn't Burdock get his own article? I know he doesn't feature much in the series, but he is a main character with a substantial role (he fought Freeza).

Features

I was reading the section on Goku Jr. when I saw it stated he has certain features that resemble Gohan, ChiChi, etc. I don't think that we should say who he looks like, because that is really more a matter of opinion. (Personally, I thin he looks like Goten, so it's all about perspective.)

Yes, but it's obviously not a contradiction to fusion, since it happened. Also, if you want to get specific, the rules for fusion say the two people must be of similar height and power, not exact. Vegetto

This article states that Vegetto is his SSJ is stronger than SSJ4 Gogeta, yet the Old Kai states that SSJ4 Goku is stronger than Vegetto, so that would mean that Gogeta is stronger than Vegetto.

Vegetto has been proven stronger than Gogeta before, the Elder Kai states the Potara Fusion is stronger than the Dance Fusion method, I forgot it's real name so sorry about that.

And i don't remember Old Kai Saing that. I remember hearing Goku Say its stronger that Gotenks

All this merging has got to stop. Most of the pages were going strong till they merged them into this pile of worthless crap.

Fighting about spelling

I call for a moratorium on all complaints about the spelling of names. Any claim of "original spellings" is nonsense. Considering the original Manga is in Japanese, any English "spellings" at all are merely a "best guess" to get the pronunciation right. So whether it's Freeza, Frieza, or Frieza, they're ALL right, because the pronunciation is as close as it's gonna get to what comes from the original Japanese.
