Questionable sources and failed verification

edit

@AlexanderShakifan29: You listed Laundry Service as the best selling album by a female Latin artists several times, but the sources provided do not back that statement up. Also sites like discogs are not reliable and it doesn't even mention the sales for the greatest hits album. Please familiarize yourself with WP:IRS and WP:V. Some things like sales I can't put specifically because unfortunately in the Spanish sources they put, thanks to a vandalization of Wikipedia, that Selena has the best-selling album with Dreaming of you with 30 million copies. Based on all certified sales Laundry Service is the best selling certified album and therefore estimated equal. I'm still looking for a source to back up what I posted. I am aware of it. Thanks AlexanderShakifan29 (talk) 15:51, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
...That's not how Wikipedia works at all... You cannot just simply put an unsourced material and then assume it will be unchallenged. Any other editor can just simply remove it on the basis that the sources don't back up what the statement says. Same with the claim that Fijación oral is the best selling Spanish language album of the 2000s, neither the sales nor that claim is on the source. Not a single one of the sources actually says Laundry Service is the best selling album by female Latin artist. What you are posting is considered original research and that goes against WP:V. This article should not have been moved from the draft space at all until everything is addressed. Erick (talk) 16:47, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
