editWas the Thor strictly a clone? I thought that they just took QL boards that they bought (either as boards or as complete computers) from Sinclair and put them in new cases with nice keyboards and a WIMPS.
The original Thor PC/Thor 1 and Thor 20/21 used QL motherboards, but the Thor XVI was designed from scratch - see CST Thor. Letdorf 10:42, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
