Old talk
editThe paragraph on boat number prefixes doesn't really belong here, but I don't know where else to put it. Suggestions (sanitary ones, anyway) are welcome. --the Epopt 18:22, 7 Jul 2004 (UTC)
What's the use of "baliistic missile" and "guided missile" if both ballistic and cruise missiles are essentially "guided"? Should have been "ballistic" and "cruise" instead. --85.140.237.81 16:51, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's the question of terminology. In Russia guided missiles are "крылатые ракеты", (missiles with wings). And guided in one case means accuracy of 100 km (ballistic), and in another case - accuracy for about a 10 m (guided, cruise or wing missiles). Do you feel the difference? 217.118.66.49 05:23, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Project 20120
edit"20120 (Kalitika or "Sargan-mod"?); in development? Unconfirmed." Maybe it means rebuilding K-64 "Vladimir" of project 667BDRM into auxiliary submarine. 217.118.66.49 05:18, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe. But the data I found (basically the Kommersant article and some background checks) seems to imply "20120" is a rather small vessel. Dysmorodrepanis 18:03, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
