Episode Order

edit

This episode list is all over the place. Just like with every other episode list on wikipedia and any other website, the episode are listed in AIR DATE order. I propose that the listings be changed to AIR DATE order. It will make the page a bit more presentable. Liam74656 (talk) 00:18, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I made some edits. The episodes should be listed in production order. For example, http://fairlyoddparents.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_The_Fairly_OddParents!_Episodes — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:AB0:F540:5CDC:CF72:B26C:C10E (talk) 01:32, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
No, episodes get listed in original airing order on Wikipedia. How other episode guides choose to do things is their style choice and does not inform how we do things here. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:46, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

60 minute to 90 minute specials counts as 2 and 3 half hours except for the Jimmy Timmy crossovers.2600:1702:AB0:F540:64E5:B488:AB26:49D8 (talk) 12:52, 4 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Christmas Every Day!

Christmas Every Day! is on Season 1, when in fact it was the first episode of Season 2. I go change it. - Dpm12 --67.163.20.117 (talk) 18:40, 24 September 2021 (UTC)No, it's from season 2. The episode being on the season 2 DVD instead of the season 1 DVD was a mistake.Reply

Season 7

please don't change it, if there are new episodes revealed, then add them. i saw the commercial of all of nickelodeon 2007 and the quick preview of 2008 so dont mess with seasson 7 yet. --Wikialexdx (talk) 17:00, 15 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bogus Season 7 Episodes

edit

Just an alert: whoever keeps putting in badly-written fake season 7 episodes might like to know that I will delete them as soon as I see them. Capiche? Comprendo? Got it now? Ruggles 23:26, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Wrath of the Spider" - oops I'm sorry - "Fairy Queen". Ha ha. Very funny. Deleted. Ruggles 22:12, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Again we have someone putting in descriptions for Season 7 episodes. None of those episodes actually exist, so I deleted them - Ruggles

I hope this is the right page to ask this, but what how exactly do you want the episode list page to be edited? I'd like to help if possible. VirginiaBoy 02:17, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Big Wanda

edit

I just saw this episode the other day. People online have been griping about it for months. No wonder. It's an abomination. I added additional information to the episode description, as a warning to others. Yeah, it'll get deleted, but at least I did my part to inform and protect the public. About the Last Episode on this list

edit

I thought it was confirmed that there were no more episodes. Also, No Parents! sounds like the Jimmy Neutron movie and the second one seems very simular to Kung Timmy. Where is this info from? Ruggles

It has been confirmed by Butch Hartman himself that FOP is out of production. Somebody's trying to get cute or is indulging in wishful thinking. I've removed the Season 7 rumor. Ruggles

Apparently there is a chance the series is coming back. However, the "new episodes" listed have no confirmation (and sound pretty fishy, even given the fact that FOP got pretty crappy near the end.) So I've removed them. Ruggles 16:15, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

According to a Frederator blog about the show, the first episode of the season (#81, so someone either messed up count or forgot an episode. Most likey the latter, since I can't find one episode on this list) is being made. This was writing in spring. So the show will have new episodes in Fall or Early Winter. 68.237.58.121 04:27, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yay, more episodes! Oh, by the way, I am by no means vandilizing the article, if anyone thinks I'm the one listing fake episodes. Not blaming anyone, just saying for GP.  Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 21:38, 4 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why was this data moved?

I really don't see why this data couldn't just be in the regualar Fairly OddParents page... --Wack'd About Wiki 06:19, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

There will also be a SpongeBob SquarePants movie that is based in Dimmsdale.

Indeed, I've added the cleanup template on here. But in general, the edits sound like some random kid who found out that there's an edit thing. (oh crap, I've forgotten to log in... will do right now) <_<

Unaired?

edit
  • Yes, on YouTube
  • Timmy the Barbarian/No Substitute for Crazy already aired on Saturday, November 25, 2006. I think Wish Scouts/Get out of my Head is just NOT a real episode!!! IT IS FAKE!!! WHO STARTED THE RUMOUR ABOUT THIS EPISODE!!! I tell you, it's not true, and it's never gonna air. People actually put fake episodes in episodes lists because they always want a new episode. IT'S A BIG LIE!!! 67 episodes is enough and there is no other to be made. The reason why we didn't watch Timmy the Barbarian/No Substitute for Crazy in October 3 2006 - October 7 2006 is because it didn't fit into this week. The UK watched two episodes of Season 6 a day in April 2006 so they did watch this episode. We watched it seven months later.

Running Gags

edit

Have you noticed how almost every episode has a running gag? For example, in the episode where Timmy wished for everything silent, people kept on drinking cofee and tea, then spit it out after hearing about the meteor. I think we should put running gags on episode lists. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.224.9.182 (talk) 18:51, 28 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

Production Codes

edit

What is the "code" on the far column of the episode list referring to? Is it the order in which they were produced or something else. Thanks! VirginiaBoy 04:55, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cameos

edit

Hey, when I am watching "No Substitute For Crazy", I notice that the substitute looking for monsters at the end of the episode is like Abraham Van Helsing from Bram Stoker's "Dracula" or more likely Gabriel Van Helsing from the movie "Van Helsing". Do you think we should count this as a cameo? There are other possible cameos in episodes.

Single episodes

edit

I plan on redirecting these per WP:EPISODE soon. Information from multiple secondary sources must be present for a single episode to need an article. This includes reception and development. Single plot summaries and trivia don't make a substantial article. I suggest Wikia and tv.com as alternate venues for this information. TTN 20:13, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fairly Odd Baby

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

edit

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 23:01, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Confusion about DVD's? Episode Lists are Wrong, Fix Them

edit

I was looking at the new DVD for season 6, and then I saw something.......on Wikipedia it has all of the episodes with Poof as Season 7, but the DVD says Season 6, volume 1????????? something needs to happen, because Poof is on the cover for Season 6, volume 1. And according to Wikipedia, Poof is Season 7Onepiece226 (talk) 02:04, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Onepiece226Reply

Apparently 2 seasons are together. My best guess is Seasons 1 and 2 are combined so:

  • Seasons 1+2 = 1
  • 3 = 2
  • 4 = 3
  • 5 = 4
  • 6 = 5
  • 7 = 6

so we need to have a LOOOOOOOONG edit episode.--Wikialexdx (talk) 07:00, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

New Episode System

edit

I've put together an entirely new system for episodes. It is sortable by DVD order, production order, and airing order. I think we should get rid of the individual season pages and just have everything on one page. There are to many inconsistencies between pages, and this way there is only one thing to update. Prnoct90 (talk) 15:10, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Okay, someone changes it without saying anything. I had seasons 1 and on together in one table, because when you sort by airing order, some seasons episodes get moved out of their season. If we leave them all in the same table, we can sort it in the true airing order for the whole series. If no one responds to this in a week, I am going to change it back. Just asking,

edit

ive seen the first episode of fairly odd parents, and i wanted to ask a question

when do they stop showing just the parents legs, and when do they change cosmos voice to what it is today? 72.49.33.198 (talk) 00:52, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Timmy's parents were first seen in the premire episode of the show ("The Big Problem / Power Mad"), and Cosmo's voice was still deep-ish in season 1, it was probably in late season 2 where his voice became how it is now. (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:25, 2 August 2009 (UTC).Reply

What exactly needs to be done to clean the article? Do you need synopsises of the episodes? Or just a general clean up.

Episode Production Numbers

edit

Hello, I would like to point out that most of the episode production numbers are incorrect. According to records of the episodes from the US Copyright Office website (search for keyword: oddparents or odd parents), there are a few discrepancies I should note:

  1. Information Stupor Highway is listed as 23. It is episode 19.
  2. Scary Godparents is listed as episode 19. It is episode 20.
  3. Microphony / So Totally Spaced Out are episode 23.
  4. LoveStruck should be episode 24.
  5. Cosmo Con / Wanda's Day Off should be 25.
  6. Odd Jobs / Movie Magic should be 26.
  7. Episodes 27 - 29 are Abra-Catastrophe
  8. The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour is not episode 45, so every episode from that point on is -1.
  9. ...up until Fairy Idol, which is 75-76.
  10. Timmy the Barbarian / No Substitute for Crazy is 77
  11. At this point it gets tricky because I couldn't find the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour records, but at this point the episodes skip ahead to 81-82 for Fairly Odd Baby. So I assume after FOP was cancelled and brought back, the Jimmy Timmy Power Hours (1, 2, 3) were counted as 78, 79, and 80 respectively.
  12. From that point on, Fairly Odd Baby is 81-82, Merry Wishmas is 88, and Birthday Bashed / Momnipresent is 94.
  13. Wishology is correctly listed.
  14. Anti Poof should be episode 101, where Birthday Bashed / Momnipresent was, and every Season 7 episode from then on is -1.
  15. Episode 121 is Love Triangle, a 30-minute special which has already aired in Latin America. It is part of Season 8, since according to Fred Seibert's blog [2] the first batch that was order was episodes 101-120.

I may have missed a few episodes which are out of order, but those are the worst ones I listed right there. I hope this clears up any misconceptions with the production list. --LRifle (talk) 17:13, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, whoever said the number of episodes is 161, you're wrong. It's 172 because you got to count the parts for the movie specials.

Season 9 Episodes

edit

I don't understand why Fairly Old Parent aired last Friday in the US. I didn't see a commercial of a new FOP nor did I see it on locatetv.com. So, whoever put that the aired on that date is an idiot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TPIRLOGO (talkcontribs)

@TPIRLOGO:, first of all, don't call people "idiots". This will almost certainly get you blocked. Second of all, just because you didn't see something doesn't mean it didn't happen. However, and more importantly, if you challenge an airdate, your best bet is to remove it with an edit summary of "Unsourced", which will shift the burden back to the submitter to provide a source. You should probably look beyond LocateTV, though. Sites like Zap2It, TV.MSN.com, TVGuide.com might have the data listed. If you perform a few "due diligence" checks and still can't find it, then remove and leave an edit summary to explain why. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:56, 1 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
First off, I would like to apologies to all who read my recent comment on the episodes that we're recently aired. I recently found on MSN.com that Man's Worst Friend may be airing next week unofficial. However, I didn't find anything on Fairly Old Parent. Also, that link was from Germany. So, I'm not sure why that certain site has air dates for US Nickelodeon. I just don't. Anyways, long live FOP.
Update: http://www.locatetv.com/tv/fairly-oddparents/schedule#08-Feb-2015
Episodes Fairly Old Parent and Man's Worst Friend will be airing on the same day. Look at link I posted. Full proof of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TPIRLOGO (talkcontribs)

Discrepancies in episode order

edit

The page says that the episodes are listed just like on Amazon's DVD sets, but there are inconsistencies here. The DVDs' covers and menus show that:

  • "Christmas Every Day!" should be the first episode in season 2. Sources that put it in season 1, such as IMDb, are based more on airing order and some move some other episodes out of their seasons – e.g. IMDb puts season 4's "Miss Dimmsdale" in season 3. The other source that proves production season 1 has six episodes and not seven is a press release from 2000, archived at https://link.gale.com/apps/doc/A59700224/GBIB?u=la74598&sid=bookmark-GBIB&xid=853cf487.
  • "The Jerkinators!" should be between "No Substitute for Crazy!" and "Fairy Idol"

I have tried to fix this myself, but my changes have been undone twice. The first person said "Seasons are defined by the broadcast company as aired", but it looks like consensus is in favor of using production seasons, and it's not as though policy insists that we use airing order. For example, Futurama's list willfully ignores "broadcast seasons" too. Could there be something wrong with my argument? Kwamena-man (talk) 23:29, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
