edit… of List of English flags – er, has anyone noticed that already? —Tamfang (talk) 02:36, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
Page name change
editThe page's name is not consistent with similar pages which use the country's specific demonym, eg List of French flags, List of German flags, List of English flags, or List of Scottish flags. Additionally, it does not read well or grammatically correct as United Kingdom is not an adjective.
As the UK's demonym is British, as well as to improve how the page name reads, perhaps the page name should be moved to List of British Flags. ZElsb (talk) 11:05, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- I was going to suggest caution as British covers more than just the UK but having checked, the article actually covers British flags. As a WP:BOLD move have done as you suggested. WCMemail 13:19, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Not so fast, will need an admin as there is already a redirect there. WCMemail 13:23, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Any chance an Admin could re-examine the page move? ZElsb (talk) 03:22, 4 August 2024 (UTC)

Uncertain pennon
editLaw student Huw Sherrard states that the Keeper of the Great Seal of Scotland was assigned a pennon by the Lord Lyon in 1963.[[1]] I can't find a proper source for it though.
Duke of Sussex Standard
editThe image and the description don't match, presumably because the label has changed from being 5-point to 3-point. I'm not confident to make a change to the description, as having a charge on each of the three points doesn't seem to fit the pattern of other standards with a 3-point label (i.e. the image appears inconsistent with other 3-point label images). 219.90.178.12 (talk) 08:13, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
"Isle of Wight Council banner of arms" description not correct
editI'm not sure where it's supposed to be, but it's not correct Thibaultmol (talk) 19:29, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
Inclusion criteria?
editWhat are the criteria for a flag to appear on this page? I've recently seen a bunch of sailing club flags added, and now 3 flags for a minor, defunct political party, none of which seem worthy of inclusion to me. Spike 'em (talk) 12:46, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
