95 foot Cape class
editThere is also the 95 foot Cape class of cutters that need to be added. Anybody have a list? The only one that I can name off hand is 95326 CApe Corwin, which was based in Honolulu Harbor. 68.61.35.13 23:31, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
USCGC Fir
editFir (Coast Guard cutter) is a U.S. National Historic Landmark which I can't place on this article's list. I am working in WP:NRHP; I don't know from ships. Can someone identify it and link it in here. Your improving the Fir article too would be appreciated. doncram 06:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Added USCGC Eagle Photo from Eagle Page
editAs the only tall ship in the USCG and only 1 of 2 in the United States military, and as the flagship of the Coast Guard, and former flagship of the Kriegsmarine in WWII, it should be shown. vchapman 10:48, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
Is she listed, and I did not see it, or perhaps it is not supposed to be on this list. Also what about the 1919 USS Yocona and Kankakee? Please let me know before I mess up your page. --''Paul, in Saudi'' (talk) 08:27, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
Split between boats and ships?
editThe page includes the quote "It is sorted by length down to 65', the minimum length of a USCG cutter." Where can I find a source for this number? It may be common knowledge, but it should be written down somewhere. SandyJax (talk) 16:45, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- @SandyJax: Krietemeyer, George E. The Coast Guardsman's Manual (Ninth ed.). Annapolis, Maryland: U.S. Naval Institute Press. p. 33. ISBN 1-55750-468-7., There are later editions of The Coast Guardsman's Manual but they could have a different page number. Cuprum17 (talk) 17:38, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
