What division was the 20th. Army Air Corp?

USMC

Should the Marine divisions even be listed here. Might they be better in the see also section?--Looper5920 01:09, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree, but damned if it's been five years. The wheels of common sense must turn slowly.172.190.108.126 (talk) 05:23, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merge

edit

This article should be merged with Formations of the United States Army during World War II.--SOCL 21:29, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Consistency

edit

The short summaries of where and when each division saw service are very useful, but it would be helpful to morons such as myself if they were written with a bit more consistency. For example, divisions that saw service in Italy are described as having served in Italy in some of the entries while others are listed as having seen action in Southern Europe. Another example is that some division have dates of service overseas while others don't. I also agree with the good person above that Marine divisions should not be listed in an article explicitly titled "List of United States Army divisions during World War II". Just a thought or two.172.190.108.126 (talk) 05:22, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

16th US infantry Division

edit

Check that link. Doesn't it refer to an infantry regiment? There was a short-lived 16th US infantry division in WW1, but not in WW2, it seems. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.99.90.6 (talk) 10:55, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
