This page is almost 15 years out of date since it is based on 2000 Census data. The most up to date indicator of median income can be found here: http://www.huduser.org/portal/datasets/il.html

The article states "They are listed below in descending order by median household income." When in fact they are listed by per capita income, which is quite different.

It appears that the last edit was vandalism, since it only removed Minneapolis/St. Paul. I reverted to the previous version. Detgfrsh (talk) 02:51, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah the exclusion of Chicago is glaring at that it's been like that for years now is concerning. "Figures are from the United States Census, 2013"

What is the source of this data? There was no Census in 2013. There was an American Community Survey in 2013, and every year. This survey appears to contain estimates. Ponydepression (talk) 17:49, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
