edit@Redditaddict69: Can you please explain the name change? Which template does it break? Maybe that template can be adjusted? —GoldRingChip 23:12, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- @GoldRingChip: on the 2020 United States Senate election in Georgia page, the election template where it says "Incumbent U.S. Senator" (below the picture of David Perdue) links to a list of senators from Georgia. The link was red before, because it linked to List of United States senators from Georgia (U.S. state) while this page was titled List of United States senators from Georgia. The template links to List of United States senators from (state), for this one it didn't exist. Now it redirects as a result of the page move. Sorry if that explanation didn't entirely make sense, that's the best I could do... is there a different solution or is what I did OK? ––Redditaddict69 (talk) (contribs) 00:21, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Redditaddict69: I'm the editor who made that feature in {{Infobox election}}, I think I can fix/change it there. —GoldRingChip 00:39, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- @GoldRingChip: I didn't know, and thanks! ––Redditaddict69 (talk) (contribs) 00:46, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Redditaddict69: Oh, that's OK! I'm just saying you found just the right editor to fix the problem! … And fix it I did. Thanks, by the way, because it helped me find another problem I'd had. Would you like to move this article back, now?
- @Redditaddict69: I've moved it back. —GoldRingChip 13:07, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
- @GoldRingChip: All good, thank you. ––Redditaddict69 (talk) (contribs) 13:10, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

The current Senator
editRaphael Warnock has been caked by the Associated Press as having won this election, stop cubic it back to Loeffler. Mamoritai (talk) 08:09, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
- Warnock doesn't take office until he is sworn in "But [Loeffler's] appointment from Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp remains in effect until the winner of the election is sworn in" https://apnews.com/article/election-2020-joe-biden-georgia-elections-house-elections-26d2fb54639ce1754eefd56b6cc9b091 Emk9 (talk) 08:14, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
Ossoff election date
editOK, so, under the "Electoral history" section for Ossoff, should it be "Elected in 2021" or "Elected in 2020?" Because, yes, the runoff technically was in 2021. But it was part of the 2020 election cycle. Thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeddawg (talk • contribs) 02:33, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
