For those who are worried about a section for renowned faculty and staff in an 'alumni section' do not worry. I am currently working on gathering the names, achievements, and fields of study of important UCF faculty to start an article solely on them. "Alumni & attendees" wording

This is redundant. By definition, anyone who attended, even without graduating, is an alumnus. See the definition. This has come up in featured list discussions on lists of alumni before, surprised this got approved with that mistake. VegaDark (talk) 22:37, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

"Notable Alumni"

This section has many non-notables with links that go to incorrect pages, furthermore there are a number of dead references. Why does a link for "Ross Brown" go to the Microsoft article? In some cases the "notables" were selected with bias from a reference where other alumni of equal non-notability were ignored. Please keep notable section for notable people. "Joel Hales," a non-notable, has name linked to Georgia Tech article and a dead reference to his supposed notability.

See Wikipedia:Notability (people). Dead links occur frequently because of redesigns, updates and relocation's and are updated/ changed as quickly as possible once they are brought to attention. They may be noted in the article by placing a [dead link]. --Nemesis63 (talk) 18:45, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia:Notability (people) and Wikipedia:Notability (academics), "Joel Hales" does not meet the criteria or notability. Should there be a section for controversies? I notice some schools have them and others don't--this could be taken as bias, since surely all schools have experienced controversy?
