Hazels Death

edit

Hazel dies, aged 32, Is her age true ?

In the German Version you can't get this information. --AndreaMimi (talk) 18:03, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the {{main article}} links for characters such as; Rose, Emily, Edward and Mrs. Bridges. They were all redlinks except for Rose Buck and her main page was only one sentence long and contained less information that her entry on this page does. I have made redirect back to here for all of them. It is unlikely that these would have been expanded or created, and if they are, they can be readded. fr33kman -simpleWP- 14:45, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Death Dates

edit

How would it be known when people died if those times were far in the future of the respective series? What is this information based on? It sounds made up to me, so I removed the suspect dates. Unless a reference is provided it should not be replaced. If some canonical source says otherwise, I apologize, but please provide the relevant reference.72.76.226.140 (talk) 13:55, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

What on earth.... ?!?!

edit

... do the numbers under "first season" and "last season" mean??? There is no explanation whatsoever. Is it their shoe size? Number of deductions on their W-2? I'm glad if it's obvious to some people, but not to everyone. Whatever those numbers are, it needs to be stated, or they need to be deleted.72.76.226.140 (talk) 13:47, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ah, I think I have it. The series in which they first appeared and last appeared. Very poor headings. I'll alter it. 72.76.226.140 (talk) 13:49, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lady Prudence had only a few lines during Georginas wedding, regarding most of Londons society were present and Sir Geoffrey Dillon would have lost most of his clients. She may also have made a comment regarding a guest that looked like she had fruitlike on her head.

On watching Episode 1 of the revised 2010 series, we are told the property had been bought many years ago but never lived in. It had been bought by the inheriter who had just married. The silver tea pot may well have been left to Rose by Lord or Lady Bellamy as Rose went to live and work with them when they moved following the 'sale' although a sale is never made clear. Given the speed in which the house was packed up, it was probably put up for sale with vacant possession.. this would have been in approx 1929-1930 after the big crash when James lost all of his money, as his mother had left the house to him and he had left debts The house, therefore had to be sold to pay off James's debts.

Needs editing work

edit

The composition (grammar, syntax, phrasing, word choice, punctuation, and so on) of this entire article needs a very great deal of work. No, I am not going to do the work myself, so do not suggest it. I learned long ago not to mess with amateur editors on Wikipedia (I am a professional book editor). I am simply pointing out that the text of the article needs a considerable amount of work to lift it above the level of a high school essay attempt.
