editHow on earth can someone actually believe that the Kingdom of Aragon (there was no such thing as the Aragonese-Catalan Confederation, but that is a separate issue) was annexed by Spain. The union of Aragon and Castilla FORMED Spain, there was no annexation, but willfull association of two sovereign countries to form a new one.

Bold names of monarchs.
editAnyone looking at or editing this article, please take a look at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Text formatting#List of Valencian monarchs and reply there to the question of whether the names of the monarchs should be in bold, or not. there are no independent Valencian monarchs of the House of Aragon
editthe Kingdom of Valencia was never independent and belonged to the Crown of Aragon, therefore we do not understand from Aragon that our historical monarchs are renowned, which were both Aragon and Valencia, Mallorca, Naples, ...
